Will has oriented his legal career towards ensuring the availability of quality, affordable healthcare. Prior to joining HDJN he worked with the Department of Justice, HHS Office of the Inspector General, and Maryland Medicaid Fraud Control Unit to protect patients from harm resulting from medical products and fraudulent healthcare practices. Will also gained regulatory enforcement experience at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. “The experience of the regulated entity—especially in the healthcare sphere—can be a daunting and frustrating one,” he notes, “in no small part due to the shifting regulatory landscape. But I believe the expertise and experience of our compliance team at HDJN provide our clients with clarity and direction.”
Armed with his enforcement experience and understanding of Federal and State regulatory frameworks, Will strives to help his clients remain compliant while providing quality, affordable healthcare. “Healthcare regulation is designed to keep patients safe, and we’re here to help the client understand what the law requires and how to implement its programs accordingly.” Will’s practice largely revolves around Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, compliance, licensure, and certification.
