Megan Dhillon comes from a family of healthcare providers. Growing up, that exposure gave her unique insights into the complex and ever-changing issues within the healthcare community.
“It can be challenging to understand the various administrative and regulatory requirements governing the healthcare industry,” says Megan. “My goal is to provide assistance with understanding and complying with these requirements, in order to help clients achieve their objectives, as efficiently and effectively as possible.”
Megan’s previous experience includes extensive work within the Health Services Section of the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia and the Department of Medical Assistance Services where she served as a Medicaid Appeals Specialist. “Having worked in and with the governmental agencies affecting the practice of healthcare in Virginia, I am familiar with the process of promulgating and interpreting regulations, developing policy, and issuing decisions,” she adds. “I bring an understanding and awareness of the administrative and regulatory issues affecting the healthcare industry that has been shaped by my extensive knowledge of how government agencies operate.”
Megan also has experience performing due diligence and assisting with regulatory filings associated with hospital mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
