Jodi Simopoulos has dedicated her practice exclusively to defending healthcare providers. She has over a decade of experience representing physicians, hospitals, nurses, and other providers in state and federal courts across the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has defended hundreds of healthcare providers in a wide range of medical specialties through all stages of the litigation process.

She was recently included for obtaining a defense verdict in a $30 million medical negligence and Virginia Consumer Protection Act lawsuit. Jodi has been recently named as a Virginia Super Lawyer in the specialty of Medical Malpractice Defense. In previous years, she was recognized as a Virginia Super Lawyers’ Rising Star. Since 2012, her peers have repeatedly chosen her as one of Virginia Business magazine’s “Legal Elite.”
Before going into private practice, Jodi clerked for the Honorable Stanley P. Klein in Fairfax County Circuit Court. She has authored numerous publications in legal and medical journals. She regularly lectures on legal developments and healthcare risk management strategies to avoid, prevent, and survive civil litigation.
